The latest collaboration between Matt Damon and Ben Affleck is heading to Netflix.
The streaming service has acquired the rights to RIP, the thriller feature that Joe Carnahan is directing, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Damon and Affleck’s production company, Artists Equity, is behind the project.
Damon and Affleck will co-star in the movie and also serve as producers. Plot details have not yet been shared.
THR reported last month that the film package was being shopped around town, with the project aiming for a fall shoot.
The two stars, who earned Oscars for their work on the screenplay for Good Will Hunting, most recently co-starred together in Amazon’s Air Jordan-focused film, Air, which Affleck directed.
Deadline was first to report the news about the movie going to Netflix.
More to come.
