The Cleaning Lady star Eva De Dominici is set to join Peter Farrelly’s Ball’s Up, where she will star opposite Mark Wahlberg and Paul Walter Hauser.
The action comedy has Farrelly reteaming with Amazon MGM Studios on the project from Skydance. Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (Deadpool & Wolverine) wrote the script for the feature that focuses on two marketing executives who get fired for botching a potential opportunity.
While using a pair of free tickets to a big soccer match, the execs’ drunken shenanigans cause everyone in the country to start hunting them down. De Dominici appears in Fox’s The Cleaning Lady opposite Elodie Yung and Adan Canto.
She’s also set to star alongside Pedro Pascal and Walton Goggins in the indie feature The Uninvited, which bowed at SXSW. And De Dominici also has on her plate Under The Stars, with Andy Garcia, Toni Collette and Alex Pettyfer in the ensemble cast.
Her other credits include the sci-fi noir Cosmic Sin, starring Bruce Willis and Frank Grillo,; CBS’ Hawaii 5-0; and Barry Anderson’s period thriller Soviet Sleep Project. Di Dominici’s Spanish-language credits include the thriller Sangre Blanca, and Gustavo Hernandez’s You Shall Not Sleep for 20th Century Fox.
She’s best known on the Spanish-language side for her work on the Argentinian series Los Ricos No Piden Permiso and Somos Familia. Producers on Ball’s Up include David Ellison for Skydance, alongside Wernick, Reese, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger and Andrew Muscato.
