It’s 4/20, and with marijuana being legalized in 24 states and the District of Columbia, it’s likely that many Americans will be partaking in celebrations.
With 4/20 activities come the munchies — which are a real thing.
The unofficial holiday seems to get bigger every year, and luckily there are plenty of food and dispensary deals, as well as exciting launches and products for those celebrating to try.
&Pizza
Members of &Pizza’s Dead Presidents loyalty program are in for a treat this 4/20.
Loyalty members will get a 4/20-themed one-time-use coupon available in their app. On Saturday, they’ll get $4.20 pies all day — with free &pizza rolling papers.
The chain is also offering a new Munchies Bundle with four menu items (1 Pie, 1 Knot, 1 Drink, 1 Dessert) for $20, no coupon needed.
Bubbakoo’s Burritos
On April 20 between 3 p.m. and 4:20 p.m., of course, Bubbakoo’s Burritos will be giving out free churros with the purchase of an entrée.
Cann
Cannabis-infused beverage company Cann has 4/20 deals for “social tonics.”
Fans can score up to 30% off and a free 8-ounce six-pack when they order by Sunday, April 21. Cann flavors include Ginger Lemongrass, Grapefruit Rosemary, Blood Orange Cardamom and Lemon Lavender.
Do It Fluid: Snoop Dogg’s hemp-infused beverage
It’s a perfect day for Snoop Dogg’s hemp-infused beverage line to go national.
In partnership with Hill Beverage Co. and Death Row Records, Do It Fluid THC and CBD beverages will be available at more than 260 Total Wine & More stores in the US. Spec’s Wine, Spirits and Foods in Texas will also offer the drinks.
Additionally, Do It Fluid, which initially launched in December 2023, will be available for delivery nationwide via DoorDash starting Saturday, April 20.
The line comes in four flavors: Blue Razz, Blood Orange, Cherry Limeade and Peaches N’ Honies. Each drink comes in 12oz CBD-only versions ($4.99 per can), as well as 8oz Delta-9 THC versions ($5.99 per can).
The new product offers “an alternative to traditional smoking through all-natural, high-quality ingredients that don’t sacrifice the high,” according to the press release.
GoPuff x Ben and Jerry’s
Delivery service GoPuff has teamed up with ice cream brand Ben and Jerry’s for a sweet 4/20 special.
Ben & Jerry’s ice cream pints will be available for $4.20 all day Saturday. Members of Gopuff’s FAM subscription service can snag a $1 pint of Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked exactly at 4:20 p.m. (limit 1 per order).
Insomnia Cookies
Insomnia Cookies is offering special, new limited-edition menu items for 4/20 and some sweet deals, too.
New menu items include Strawberry Cornbread Filled Deluxe cookies and Walking Cookie Tacos, as well as a dozen mini cookies in a snackable to-go bag. Mini cookies come with a choice of one candy topping and one drizzle – with a new option of Mike’s Hot Honey.
Fans can also grab a free classic cookie through Sunday, April 21 with any $5 purchase in-store when you show the app or online with any in-app delivery.
Bringing a canned, packaged or sealed food item to donate to local food banks (with a reasonable best-by date) into the store can also get a free classic cookie.
Jimmy John’s
Jimmy John’s dropped a Deliciously Dope Dime Bag for 4/20, a specially curated meal to cure the munchies.
The dime bag is a packed combo meal, including a hand-sliced smoked ham and provolone cheese sandwich topped with Jalapeño Ranch, XTRA Oregano-Basil, sliced pickles crispy jalapeños and fresh-sliced lettuce and tomato, alongside a pickle spear, a Fudge Chocolate brownie, and a serving of Jimmy Chips.
The Deliciously Dope Dime Bag will only be available to order online at participating restaurants for $10 with the use of the promo code DIMEBAG.
